Biomedical Sciences

MSc/PG Diploma /PG Certificate
This course provides masters level knowledge and practical skills in the full range of biomedical sciences that will allow graduates to enter scientific jobs in industry, hospitals and universities. The course is flexible and allows students to choose from a wide range of specialist topics.  

Curriculum
In semester 1, an important range of generic skills is covered, including academic writing, statistics, project management, and ethics for the biomedical sciences. Key laboratory skills are developed through an introductory course covering molecular biology, separation techniques and cell biology assays.  A class in commercialization and entrepreneurship follows in semester 2. Students choose two classes in advanced topics and also two classes in advanced techniques and methods that include the following options:
